    Complimentary Software solutions

School ICT Services Ltd is continuously developing solutions that add value to a school’s management information system and general administration. We are able to offer these new products to schools through Local Authority partnerships.

School ICT Services has developed a software product called AssessmentMap which is a bolt-on to the SIMS system assessment module in order to create a very user friendly system that is both trackable and measurable. AssessmentMap will help the school run more efficiently and provide you with the information required to ensure improvements are made in your Oftsed reporting, enabling schools to track pupil progress from Foundation stage to end of KS2.

In conjunction with our sister company EduMap Ltd, we have developed AssessmentMap, a software bolt-on to SIMS Assessment Manager for Primary Schools. The product provides schools with a full set of templates, analysis grids, tracking grids and reports which will give you:call_action.png

    • Tracking all pupils from baseline on entry to nursery to end of KS2
    • Flexibility over how many assessments per year can be entered (3-6)
    • Every detail of Ages and Stages, EYFSP and National Curriculum finely graded sublevels can be captured
    • Tracking of Speaking and Listening, Reading, Writing, English, Maths, Science and RE
    • Progress measures from previous assessment, end of previous year and end of previous key stage
    • Measures of “gaps to target” for both end of year and end of key stage
    • Measures of “gaps to age related expectations”
    • Based on current assessments, projected estimates of what measures at the end of key stages may look like
    • Set of standard analysis grids, tracking grids and reports from all the above data
    • Ability to create standard parental reports from the above data
    • Utilises all the standard SIMS features such as data filters (attendance, ethnicity, SEN, EAL, FSM, gender)
    • Automatic handing of mobility, so no need to copy data between SIMS and stand-alone trackers for joiners or leavers
    • Custom report functionality as Assessment Manager provides open access to all recorded data

AssessmentMap incorporates a way of measuring progress in a valid, consistent way across Ages and Stages, EYFSP and National Curriculum years which has been tested in Ofsted inspections in several schools in Bradford, with successful outcomes.

Other software developments are due for launch over the coming months.
