    SIMS Consultants (2 Posts) – Closing Date 01/11/2017

    Due to continued customer growth, an opportunity has arisen for suitably qualified, highly motivated and experienced Secondary and Primary School SIMS specialists to join our Capita Accredited, hardworking and highly regarded support team.

    School ICT Services Ltd is one of the largest, independent providers of SIMS support in the country. We currently offer support and consultancy services to over 400 Local Authority, Academy and Free Schools, predominantly in the north of England but increasingly on a national basis. It is our aim to help schools get maximum use from their SIMS system and candidates must be pro-active in developing the use of this software in schools.

    Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills and be able to deliver high quality support to our customers via our helpdesk and through scheduled training courses. There is also an expectation that applicants are prepared to deliver on-site training and consultancy to our customers within designated agreed areas of the country. Although our office is in Leeds, we have a number of employees that work from home. Applications from any geographical location in the UK will be considered.

     

    Vacancy 1 (Primary Consultant)

    For this vacancy we are looking for candidates with experience of supporting SIMS in primary schools or current experience as a power user of SIMS in the primary sector. Expertise in one or more of the following area would be an advantage

    Census, FMS, SIMS Reporting, Personnel and SEN

     

    Vacancy 2 (Secondary Consultant)

    For this vacancy we are specifically looking for expertise in the use of the Exams module in SIMS. In addition, expertise in one or more of the following areas would be an advantage

    Assessment, Census (including Post 16), Nova T.

    The successful candidate will either be a SIMS support professional or a current/recent Secondary School colleague with experience in using SIMS to a high level and looking to contribute in a commercial environment.
